Whitehead to lead social media roundtable for produce industry leaders.

Attorney Jonathan R. Whitehead has been invited to lead a roundtable discussion for produce industry leaders on June 9, 2011.

The discussion, hosted via video conference by produce consultancy [FreshXperts] [FX], is designed to give leaders an overview of social media's power and pitfalls.

FreshXperts advises produce companies, distributors and retailers on a wide variety of issues, including traceability, visibility and cool chain management. Mike Chirveno, social media expert for FreshXperts and founder of ClearVision Consulting, will also be speaking .

"Many small businesses understand the need for social media, but do not have an integrated legal and marketing framework," said Whitehead. "FreshXperts recognizes that its important to have the right plan when navigating this new technology."
